Provide an overview of how to create useful and legally compliant job descriptions and performance evaluations, provide best practices for implementing these tools and explain why those HR tools really matter when it comes to managing employees and risk management with respect to civil rights laws, wage and hour laws and FMLA/worker’s compensation laws.

Ms. Reasner’s general practice includes the areas of labor and employment law, insurance defense, and internal investigations. She regularly represents a wide range of clients including insurance companies, businesses and cities, counties and school districts. Ms. Reasner has handled FMLA matters as well as risk avoidance in matters involving employee hiring, discipline, and discharge. Also an experienced trial lawyer, she defends employers in courts and before arbitrators in all types of matters. In addition, she is often retained by employers to conduct internal investigations on a variety of employment related matters such as discrimination, harassment, and ethics and policy violations.
